Founder: Ahmer Butt “Ahmer had never really been into home decor or home improvement projects, until he decided to get married and had to deal with the overwhelming pressure of planning the perfect house for his new beginning. During this period of learning and exploring, he realized that deciding on big or small things that needed to be done inside the house he and his family were going to be spending their life in was not just a mere chore that needed to be quickly done and gotten over with; What started off as a necessity, an exhaustive process! turned into a fun adventure of discovery and experimentation. It was actually quite fun!
For Ahmer, it was quite difficult at first to navigate through the different projects he could undertake to realize his and his future wife’s dream house, but as he continued down this path he discovered a whole world of ideas and inspirations, each motivating him to dig deeper and do more!
After a while the home improvement project became more of a passion project, to the point that after a few months Ahmer was sure that he not only wanted to learn more about it, he wanted to use his experience to help people – especially novices – learn the art of home improvement, so that they did not need to go through all the hurdles he had to face in the beginning. He also believes that through the right guidance and resources, his audience will definitely enjoy undertaking any such projects – just like he had come to enjoy them – rather than be intimidated by their immensity!
And thus, the idea of Homely Magazine was born! Ahmer, as well as his team, have poured their heart and soul into making sure YOU get all the information and ideas you need to make the right decisions regarding your perfect home!”
